Class of 1974 Motto

Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow.

Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead.

Just walk beside me and be my friend.

Class Song “I’ve Got a Name” by Jim Croce

Written by C Fox and N Gimbel

The school mascot is the “Cobbler”, which is the nickname that was changed from “Tigers” to “Cobblers” in honor of former coach/athletic director & South Dakota Hall of Fame Member, E.N. “Euc” Cobb during the 1934-35 school year.

Cobbler Fight Song-Huckleberry Theme Song Lyrics

Let's Go Rapid City

Let's go Rapid City give a cheer that will win.

Our hopes are all for Rapid and our hearts are all a thrill.

We will shout for the big team shout again and again, Let's Go, Let's Go for Rapid City's teams.

Our foes may struggle, we'll beat 'em in the end, our teams will conquer and our honor defend.

Let's Go Rapid City give a cheer that will win, remember Rapid we're all for you!

COBBLERS, Cobblers, Cobblers, Cobblers!

Huckleberry Hound

The biggest show in town is Huckleberry Hound, For all you guys and gals, The biggest clown in town is Huckleberry Hound with all his cartoon pals.

It's  Huckleberry fun , it's for everyone, So come on, gather round.

Get yourself all set,

Turn up your tv set,

For Huckleberry Hound.

That oh, so merry, Chukleberry,

Huckleberry Hound.
